2026 ‘Na̱mg̱is Elk Draw
The 2026 ‘Na̱mg̱is Elk Draw has now been completed.
This year, ‘Na̱mg̱is is harvesting 30 elk from Area 1-11a/b. Of these, 17 elk are allocated for Food, Social and Ceremonial (FSC) purposes, commonly referred to as “ceremonial tags.” Once harvested, the FSC elk will be distributed as food to Elders.
A total of 44 eligible hunters applied for 13 available elk tags. The following hunters were selected through a random draw:
