Frozen Sockeye for Off-Island ’Na̱mg̱is Members

We have a limited amount of frozen sockeye to deliver to our off-island members. Please read the information below carefully about accessing this fish.

Important:

Victoria is the only pickup location

This distribution is for eligible off-island ’Na̱mg̱is members. You do not need to live in Victoria to register.

However, all fish will be distributed from Victoria only. There will be no additional distribution or pickup locations in other communities.

If you are unable to pick up your fish in Victoria yourself, you may identify up to two people on the registration form who can pick it up on your behalf.

Eligibility

If your household received fish in Alert Bay, you will not be receiving additional fish this time.

This is a new registration, separate from the 2026 Alert Bay sockeye registration. You are still required to register for this fish, even if you did not receive fish through the previous registration.

Registration

You need to register to receive this fish.

Registration is open September 14 to September 30 and will not be extended.

If you cannot pick up the fish yourself, you can identify a maximum of two people who can pick up the fish for you.

Victoria Pickup

Frozen sockeye will be available for pickup in Victoria on Tuesday, October 6.

Victoria is the only pickup location for this distribution. There will be no distribution stops in other communities.

The specific Victoria pickup location and time will be announced closer to the date.
