Polaris Land Surveying Notice & Survey Liaison Opportunity

The ‘Na̱mg̱is First Nation Lands & Infrastructure Department is advising Members that Polaris Land Surveying will be conducting survey work throughout ‘Na̱mg̱is reserve lands from October 26 to November 6, 2026.

The survey team will be moving throughout the reserve and may need to access residential yards to locate survey monuments and collect preliminary data.

About the Survey Work

This work is part of the Legacy Issues Project, funded by the Lands Advisory Board Resource Centre (LABRC).

The project aims to address historic survey issues and establish accurate lot boundaries throughout reserve lands. This will provide Members with greater certainty about property boundaries and support future home ownership, development, and land management.

There is no cause for concern regarding the survey team’s presence. We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding while this work takes place.
