Home Support Worker – Level Two

The Home Support Worker – Level Two assists community members to live independently and safely in their homes and community for as long as possible while supporting the highest quality of life. This role works under the supervision of the Home Care Nurse and, where applicable, in consultation with other specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services in accordance with client care plans
• Perform housekeeping and home management tasks as needed
• Provide short-term respite services to allow family caregivers some personal time
• Assist clients and health providers with making and keeping appointments for health services

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum one year of experience in a related health care field
• Certificate in Home Support/Residential Care or Personal Care from an approved community college
• Current CPR certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Salary: $25.41 – $29.60 per hour (35 hours per week)
