Victoria Pickup — Tuesday, October 6

For eligible off-island ’Na̱mg̱is members who registered:

• Where: Hampton Park Soccer Field, 225 Hampton Rd, Victoria
• When: Tuesday, October 6, starting at 2:00 PM
• Amount: 5 fish per household

Island Foods expects to deliver the fish to the distribution site between noon and 2:00 PM. This is the expected delivery window. Distribution starts at 2:00 PM. ’Na̱mg̱is staff can provide a further update once the fish arrives.

Staff will be there early to wait for the freezer truck, unload the totes of fish, and get organized.

Before You Arrive

Bring a cooler or something to carry your fish in.

Please remain patient and avoid blocking the parking lot. Keep to one side so emergency vehicles can get through if needed.

Please do not jump the line or approach staff while they are preparing to distribute. Staff will answer your questions when you reach them in line.

The accompanying map shows where distribution staff will be parked.

Victoria Is the Only Pickup Location

All fish will be distributed from Victoria only. There will be no additional distribution or pickup locations in other communities.

You did not need to live in Victoria to register. If you cannot pick up your fish yourself, the registration form allowed you to identify up to two people who could pick it up on your behalf.

Eligibility

This distribution is for off-island ’Na̱mg̱is members only.

This fish is not available to on-island members, including those who did not receive sockeye through the previous Alert Bay distribution.

If your household received fish in Alert Bay, you will not receive additional fish through this distribution.

This was a separate registration from the 2026 Alert Bay sockeye registration. Eligible off-island members were required to register for this distribution, even if they previously registered for sockeye but did not receive fish.

Registration Is Closed

Registration ran from September 14 to September 30 and will not be extended. Members needed to register to receive this fish.
