Shared Decision-Making with the Province of BC

On October 3, 2025, the Government of BC and the Na̱mg̱is First Nation released a draft Section 7 (S7) Agreement for member review.

This agreement would allow Na̱mg̱is to share decision-making authority with the Province on key forestry matters, including the Forest Landscape Plan and Forest Operations Plan for Tree Farm License #37 in our territory.

The 30-day consultation period runs until November 3, 2025. Members are encouraged to review the full memo below and share feedback with the Administration Office.
