Intake Coordinator – ‘Na̱mg̱is Wellness Centre

Salary Range: $44,008 – $51,197 per year
Position Summary
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing the client intake process and maintaining client files in accordance with ‘Na̱mg̱is Wellness Centre policies and procedures. This role reports to the Program Manager and includes liaison with referral workers from other agencies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the orderly client intake process.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Liaise with referral workers from other agencies.
- Support the Wellness Centre team by ensuring smooth intake and information flow.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education and/or Office Administration training.
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector).
Experience & Skills
- Two (2) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with First Nations organizations.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and communication.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Trauma-informed approach and respect for First Nations cultural practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to practicing a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a personal wellness plan.
