We are happy to announce that 83% of our members who participated voted in favour of accepting the ‘Namgis First Nation Land Code! ‘Namgis First Nation is the 82nd First Nation in Canada and the 46th First Nation in BC to have voted to ACCEPT a Land Code. Thank you to everyone who came out to participate in the vote. ‘Namgis is excited to be taking back control of our reserve land management!
509 of our members participated in the Land Code vote with:
- 423 “YES”
- 85 “NO”
- 1 “SPOILED”.
